Thank you Jenny Gill and Jocelyn Williams for a very informative LGT session on depression. You provided us with insight into this mental health condition that affects so many and sharing personal experiences made it all the more poignant. We had a very large turn-out for this session, however, I chose not to post photos as it seemed inappropriate for such a serious topic. The session concluded on a relaxing note with a mindful meditation session lead by Jenny followed by tea and two types of coconut macaroons and a lot of chatting to finish the night.

Thank you Tiphanee Athans for a introduction to tracing your family tree. It was a very informative session and fascinating for all of us.
Wow! There is so much more to it than just looking at ancestry.com. Besides the numerous websites and databases, there are actually people who work in the State and National Library who will retrieve original documentation for you. How good is that!
The journey into your past can reveal many bent and twisted branches and stories along to way - quite fitting for a lesbian group.
Tiphanee is running an 8-week workshop x 2 hours at the Katoomba Community College commencing on 21 October. If you want to discover more about your families past, book yourself in and let Tiphanee share her extensive knowledge with you. The link to college website is below:
